These are before and after pictures of a mosaic fish created by eBayer SABAngel. Often such "before" items can be purchased at thrift stores or Goodwill stores as this one was very inexpensively. With a little mosaic knowhow and some tiles, pottery or glass, they can be transformed into interesting and unique works of art. According to the artist, this fish has " a little brass eye to match the wire on the post. I do wish you could see the "bubbles" better -- there is another one on the other side. The wire twisted to hold them and was heavy enough to be buoyant. The top of the base is cut mirror tiles with dark blue grout. Bubble marbles are aquamarine and I used cobalt blue gems around the sides."
